Stretch Fabric
 is a fabric which stretches in all four directions. First, Stretch Fabric was used in swimsuits and women's bras, fashion designers began using them as early as the mid-1980’s. They entered the mainstream market in the early 1990’s, and are widely used in sportswear, but also shirts. Spandex was the first Stretch Fabric on the market.

A stretch shirt is very trendy. It makes it possible to better adapt the body to a curved cut.
