1981, Bivolino was leading the industry in computerized production, automating pattern making and increasing production capacity to 900,000 shirts annually by 1987. As technology evolved, Bivolino embraced the internet’s potential, launching its first online bespoke shirt service in 1997, under the leadership of Michel Bijvoet, the founder’s son.
